THE FERRY STREAM
The Ferry Stream is a fast flowing stretch of water that fishes best in low to medium heights, from 0 to two feet above low summer level. There is however a small part at the lower end that will fish well up to about three and a half feet above low water level
Towards the end of the 2010 season a croy in the middle of the Ferry Stream was rebuilt. This resulted in the formation of what looks as if it will be a very nice piece of medium to high water salmon fishing .What is unknown is whether it will still appear to be such a nice bit of salmon fly fishing water after the the winter floods on the Tummel have done their work.
